I took Friday off of work and spent all day cooking and shopping and running back and forth to the church!! My youngest daughter Heather came from Utah and surprised me but she was a great help that day!!
The Young Women were asked to be at the church at 5PM as the dinner started at 6PM. They were there with bells on and I put them to work.
These are just some of them .... I neglected to get some of them in the kitchen... oops!
They put the table clothes on the tables and decorated them with mason jars filled with Easter grass and then there were flowers in them with their values on them. They also put on all the flat ware, butter, rolls and bowls of salad.
We set up two tables for their dessert auction items.
They did a great job on their yummies to be auctioned off!!
Then the people started showing up and it was a pretty awesome turnout!
We got a lot of compliments on the food and decorations. The girls made $945.50!! Enough to pay for all the girls that were there helping plus three more who weren't!!It was a great success BUT I'm glad it's over!!
UPDATE: 2 girls turned in money late! We made $1087.50 total! Enough for 18 girls to go to camp! AWESOME!!
