TEMPLE FRAMES !~

Tonight for Young Women's, we made frames for our
"Temple Trek" pictures!! We did our Temple Trek on May 28th and walked from Sunnyside (where the Green Belt starts) all the way to the church on Canyon. We stopped periodically along our trek and various sisters talked about "their " trek to the temple ! It was a wonderful experience to walk with the Young Women and to tell them what it took for us to be able to go to the temple for the 1st time!! After we got to the church we ate our sack lunches and then drove to the Boise Temple to let the girls experience the SERENITY of the Temple and it's BEAUTIFUL grounds!
We had taken "Group Pictures" of the girls at the temple but we decided to have Brother Stoddard come in to Young Women's on Sunday and take pictures of the girls in their Sunday Best so we could do tonight's activity!

The girls were all given a wooden frame and we started off by staining them ..............

They selected a sheet of decorative paper ........................

They modpodged the paper to the front of the frame, cut, sanded, and distress inked the frame!
I was so grateful for the Leaders that were there and helped out!
LOVE THOSE WOMEN!!
When all done .............. I made them pose with their finished product!!

They ALL turned out so well .............. All different and unique ..................

It was a fun evening! Other than the room being terribly HOT and the fumes from the stain giving me a headache ........ it was a very successful evening!!
